Wade Fallan
Sr. Manager | CPA, CGA, TEP
Growing up on the Island, Wade majored in accounting before joining the CGA Program. Before transitioning to public practice, Wade spent time working in industry and with the provincial government. Since joining Cameron Izard Snell, he has gained over 10 years of experience focusing on Canadian and U.S. personal tax, including cross-border tax compliance for Canadians with U.S. income and Americans with Canadian filing requirements. He also provides advising and compliance services for estates and trusts in Canada, including trusts with cross-border tax issues such as non-resident executors or beneficiaries. Wade completed the two-year program with STEP Canada to obtain his Trusts and Estates Practitioners designation. With his TEP designation, Wade is able to provide estate planning services and work with lawyers to create certain trusts while planning around potential cross-border issues.
In his free time, he enjoys playing men’s league soccer and coaching his kid’s soccer teams. He is also passionate about photography, from wildlife to landscape and portrait photography, and took many of the staff photos on our website. Outside tax season, Wade also volunteers with various organizations, including CRA’s Volunteer Income Tax Program and Operation Trackshoes, a weekend-long Provincial Sports festival for people with developmental disabilities that takes place each summer at the University of Victoria.
